What is Amorphous
Metal Heat Tape?

Amorphous metallic alloys, often referred to as metallic glasses, are engineered into ultra-thin ribbons approximately 20-30 microns thick. Unlike conventional metals such as copper or aluminum, which solidify into an organized crystalline lattice structure, amorphous metals are manufactured using an extremely rapid cooling process that prevents the atoms from arranging themselves into a crystalline pattern.

As the molten alloy transitions from liquid to solid, it cools so quickly that the atoms become “frozen” in a random, non-crystalline state.

The result is an exceptionally thin yet extremely strong metallic heat tape that is highly durable, resistant to wear and fatigue, and capable of delivering unparalleled heat performance.
