We installed the TruHeat system Oct /19 in our upstairs bathroom in a post and beam home that we heat only with firewood near Peterborough ON. It makes the early morning bathroom experience absolutely enjoyable . The room temperature would normally be 15 -18°C in the past ,with the TruHeat system that is set to come on about 45 minutes before we wake up it is now at 21°C. Heavenly!

We had a problem with the system initially ( INSTALLERS FAULT) and Zach @ TruHeat looked after us promptly and professionally. We are very impressed with the whole experience . Some of our friends have also bought the system and we would recommend TruHeat to anybody that is looking for a lifestyle upgrade.

6 watts per square feet instead of using 12 watts per square feet? Yes I think I made the right choice by going with the truheat system instead of the ditra system.

I found the system very easy to install myself in a converted 250 square foot screen porch with 10 foot ceilings. I had no means to heat this room being it was previously an exterior room. The entire room besides the 20 footback wall are 8 foot windows and a 16 foot sliding door…. not great insulation value. My contractor did not believe it would be enough heat … he was dead wrong. Truheat does a fabulous job. I am very pleased with results as my room is comfortable all the time .

We needed an efficient way to heat a basement bedroom and bathroom and loved what we learned about the Tru Heat System. Installation was a breeze and Tru Heat offered help and input very quickly when we needed it. The system is installed and operating now and we love it. You can walk from the basement great room, that has no heat, onto the heated bedroom floor and instantly feel the warm difference. Thank you TruHeat!

We added an insulated sunroom to our home that wasn’t hooked into house heating, and was built on a deck vs. a foundation so lots of icy Alberta winter air flowing underneath. We wanted a solution for heating the room on cloudy winter days that would make it pleasant for our children to play on a warm floor. The TruHeat system works marvelously for that. We love having the heat under our feet vs having the air warm but needing thick slippers to keep our feet toasty. It vastly increases the room’s use as a play space! Also, for the record, Zach’s customer service and trouble shooting during the install were absolutely top notch, and he is a credit to the company. Thanks for everything!

We wanted to replace the expensive hot water baseboard / electric hot water boiler system with something that was more efficient and esthetically pleasing. The TruHeat system has been simply amazing, easy DIY installation except one hour labour for electrical hook-up. The order and delivery process was also flawless. We have our kitchen completed and have ordered two more kits to do three bedrooms and a bathroom. The floor feels amazing and I will write another review once our first electrical bill arrives but I am confident that it will save us a lot of dollars here in Central New Brunswick.

I’m a contractor and I installed this for a client of mine. My clients absolutely love the product as it also heats up the house too. I love this product because of how easy it was for me to install it! I highly recommend it.

The first thermostat behaved strangely, turning on the TruHeat system when the room was already warm and the system shut off when the room was cold. Customer service was fantastic and sent out a replacement unit and now everything is working great!

Our large bathroom has hot water heating in the floor but the tiles do not get warm. We took the tiles out to add the TruHeat System. We were able to built the floor up with a recommended foam/foil product and cork. On this we put the TruHeat System and then Vinyl flooring in oak on top. This gave us the right height to match the oak hardwood flooring in the adjacent bedroom. The flooring now looks continuous between the bedroom and bathroom. The Pros were: simple to install (did it myself), no concrete products required (no mess or cleanup), easy to adjust the high to match other flooring, Zach was a terrific help (he was quick to answer and provided great information. The Cons are: mounting the large transformer box (I hide it in an adjacent closet), needed to put new batteries in the thermostat, difficulty with programming the thermostat (the instructions are too brief and should be supplemented). Apart from some difficulty with the thermostat programming it is a great system and provides a nice even heat in the floor. Highly recommended.

I just installed the Truheat system in my basement. Two units, a #5 and a #7 combined, heated the half of the basement that will have a gym and theatre area. Of all the possibilities, this technology worked the best. And the staff at Truheat, (especially Zach) answered every query with speed and detail. The floor is now heated, it feels great. Such a difference to walk down the stairs and not feel that 3-4 degree temperature drop. I’m very happy with this purchase and install.

We built a large sunroom onto our house and were looking for a cost effective source of heat. Truheat EZ mats came through with a product that was easily installed, very reasonably priced, and very efficient to run. Best of all, no one knows its there… except that they comment on how wonderful the warm floor feels on their feet!

Honestly, this is a great product and a great company.

It’s been an absolute positive experience since the beginning working with Zach to understand the system on a technical level and planning it based on my project needs. He was very responsive and re-assuring every step of the way of the quality of the system as I came up with concerns. In the end, I’m very happy with the system after spending one Eastern-Ontario winter in a tiny house, kept comfortably cozy. Hope to be promoting this infloor electric heat system more, as it really is a great heating solution either as primary heat or backup.
